How to get involved!
Volunteering
If you love books, working with computers, or meeting people, volunteering at the library can be a personally rewarding experience. Contact the library in person, by phone, or by e-mail if you are interested in any of the following.
- Assisting at the Circulation Desk.
- Covering books.
- Shelving books.
- Recording and collecting fees for copier, fax, printer.
- Recording monetary donations.
- Processing book donations.
- Assisting with book sales.
- Participating in children's Story Hours.
- Providing computer assistance to patrons.
- Assisting with seasonal decorations.
- Conducting telephone follow-up on overdue materials.
- Dusting book shelves and public areas.
