Perhaps no place in any community is so totally democratic as the town library.  The only entrance requirement is interest.

2023 Scholarship Winners

Makail Brandenderger and Dayton McDowell are the recipients of the Nellie Pederson Civic Library 2023 scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each.  This award, which is administered by the Clifton Civic Improvement Society, was announced at the senior awards banquet on May 16, 2023. The scholarships are for CHS seniors who are interested in attending a vocational/technical/trade school.Both Makail and Dayton will be attending Texas State Technical College in Waco, TX. Makail will enroll in the welding program and Dayton will enroll in the diesel mechanic program.  Congratulations to our recipients as they continue their education at the next level.

Nellie Pederson Civic Library and Bosque County Genealogical Society (BCGS) have partnered to make ancestry.com available at the library free of charge.  The subscription to this exceptional research site is funded by BCGS for use by its members, library patrons, and area residents.   Use is limited to library computers or your laptop connection to our wireless network.
